About our web site

If you love horses as we do, and would like to help provide a safe haven for these noble animals in their twilight years, please consider making a contribution.

Caring for the horses and operating the farm is costly. Each horse requires about $2,100 per year to cover feed, hay, veterinary supplies (shots, worming, illnesses), and farrier expenses.

Contributions - Individual or corporate contributions of any amount are always welcome. Send your check to the address listed on the bottom of this page or come for a visit and drop your check by. We also encourage you to ask your employer if they have a program to match your donation.

Web Contributions - iGive.com donates funds to your favorite charity each time you shop online.  To sign up and select Retirement Home for Horses as your designated charity, click on the icon below.

Volunteers - Horses require hours of care. You can volunteer to assist with grooming on Thursday or Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Previous experience with horses and grooming is desired.
