HOW YOU CAN HELP
The task of providing a refuge for these noble animals is not an easy one. Caring for the horses and operating the farm is costly. Each horse requires about $2,000 per year to cover grain, hay, veterinary supplies, farrier and dentist expenses. In addition to this, any severe drought can increase costs tremendously. Lack of rain can mean that the horses are not able to pasture graze and as a result, hay and grain has to be fed throughout the year . We count on donations and manual help from those who share the same love and respect for horses as we do.
Please consider making a donation .... It is through the compassion and generosity of our donors and volunteers that enables the Retirement Home For Horses to provide the care for so many horses in need.
